About MeadowGrass
Music Festival

La Foret formed MeadowGrass Music Festival in 2009 to provide the best in roots, bluegrass, Americana, cowboy, folk and acoustic music in a spectacular outdoor setting for young and old alike. MeadowGrass is a true partnership.

The additional MeadowGrass founding partners provide support in the form of volunteer time, financial underwriting and in-kind assistance: KRCC, Bristol Brewing Company, Bee Vradenburg Foundation, A Music Company Inc. and Western Jubilee.

What are People Saying

"There couldn't have been a more ideal location to experience Yarn for the first time than the MeadowGrass music festival. In the heart of the Black Forest just north of Colorado Springs, the festival took place in a wide open meadow surrounded by tall pines, breathtaking views of Pikes Peak and weather that could not be beat."

"Wow, what a weekend. Those of you who made it out to the Meadowgrass Music Festival know what we’re talking about.
Steve Harris from KRCC did a fabulous job of lining up an incredible variety of great artists.  You’d never know that this festival is only three years old. Everything ran like clock work.  Fabulous music, great food, and ample libations!  The setting at La Foret in Black Forest was so beautiful it felt like we were in some secluded part of Colorado when we were only 30 minutes from home.  This is by far one of the coolest live music events in Colorado.  Mark you calendars next year and plan to attend. This is an event we need to support!"

"MeadowGrass, which drew about twice as many visitors as last year, is starting to have that fun, festive fibe of a Planet Bluegrass festival, only without the giant lines and hassles.  It's a place to find a face-painted girl dancing with her mom, a dad dragging a red wagon full of coats and toys across the fairground, and a neo-hippy trying without luck to keep a hula hoop spinning around her hips."
